Water Treatment and Water Conditioning
During our wastewater treatment projects at industrial plants, we have increasingly encountered the need for treating the incoming raw water to meet the water quality requirements of manufacturing processes and other operations such as heating and steam production. Whether it is from the public water supply or a dedicated water source, such processes may be needed – most commonly iron and manganese removal, softening, or complete demineralisation.
Among manufacturing technologies, electronics and the electrical industry are among the most sensitive to water quality. Meeting these needs already requires specialised solutions (e.g. a combination of membrane filtration steps). The situation is similar for the infrastructure serving the automotive industry, where significant investments have been made in Hungary in recent decades. The large number of suppliers must operate water conditioning and water treatment technologies on their own sites that satisfy the strict quality requirements.
