A multinational food company expanded its production capacity in Hungary and, in connection with this, had to increase its wastewater treatment capacity as well. Our company won the multi-round tender procedure for the complete delivery of the works.
As the first step we prepared the water-rights construction permit documentation. We then began the detailed design work, and on that basis the procurement and/or manufacture of the machines and equipment.

Steps of the technology
- mechanical screening to remove the solid contaminants;
- collection and equalisation (homogenisation);
- coagulation-flocculation treatment with chemical dosing in stirred reactors;
- separation of the water and sludge phases by flotation;
- dewatering of the sludge on a screw press;
- canalisation of the treated water.
